The following two links relate to a project carried out by researchers from Trinity College. The research concludes that a monetry value worth almost €4 million annually to the Irish econonomy via increased yields of oilseed rape alone, can be placed upon the pollination services of insect pollinators; honeybees, hoverflies and bumble bees being the most significant contributors to this value.
